Tools2Easy is the data controller for personal data processed through our website and tools, except where we act as a processor on your instructions (for example, when you use our service to process files on behalf of your organization).

Personal data we process
Depending on how you use Tools2Easy, we may process:
- Account identifiers (email, user ID from our auth provider)
- Support and feedback messages
- Usage logs, IP address, device/browser information
- Files uploaded for server-based processing (temporarily)
- Billing and transaction records for paid features
- Cookie and advertising identifiers (where enabled and permitted)

Supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe our processing violates applicable law. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern.
International transfers
We use service providers that may process data outside the EEA/UK. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or adequacy decisions.
Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy — for example, while your account is active, for support records, or as required by law. Server-uploaded files are typically deleted within one hour.
Automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects solely without human involvement. AI tools generate content at your direction; you remain responsible for reviewing outputs.
