Do I need an account for free tools?
No. Most free PDF, image, video, text, and utility tools work without signing in. Sign-in unlocks larger server-side jobs and premium AI tools.
Where are my recent files stored?
Uploads and results stay in your browser (IndexedDB) for about one hour so you can reuse them across tools on the same device. They are not uploaded to our cloud storage for that feature.
Why does video processing fail on large files?
Browser processing has a size limit. Sign in to use the server path for larger videos when available.
How do AI credits work?
Premium AI tools deduct credits per run. See the Pricing page for plan details and credit costs.
Which tools run in the browser vs on your servers?
Most free PDF, image, text, and utility tools process locally in your browser. Video compression, video downloaders, URL capture, many format converters, some AI image tools, and premium text AI run on our servers and require sign-in.
Can I download TikTok or Instagram videos?
Yes. Open the TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, or LinkedIn video downloader under Video Tools, sign in, paste a public URL, and download the file when the job finishes.
